I travelled with my 22 year old son, 11 year old daughter and her 10 year old friend. The location is ideal, half way between Faliraki and Rhodes Old Town. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel and the bus runs every twenty minutes to both locations. A taxi to Old Town costs €11 and to Faliraki €18. The access to the beach is great although you DEFINITELY need beach shoes to go into the water. The rocks are jagged and slippy. You can access the private beach for Kresten Royal Euphoria hotel which has slightly better access to the sea but you cannot use the sun loungers. Both beaches are accessed directly from the hotel. The beaches in both Rhodes and Faliraki are much better. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Most speak English but those that don't will quickly find someone who does. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cleaned and towels replaced daily. Bedding is replaced whenever you like, you simply place the card on the bed for new bedding. The food at breakfast and dinner is fabulous. Lots of choices and beautifully prepared. Staff are always around and happy to replenish things if you let them know they've run out. Food is replenished right up until the point that service closes, I've stayed in hotels where food isn't replenished after 15/30 minutes before the end of service. The pool bar also serves good food and is value for money with a large pizza costing €9. The pool is great. There are plenty of sun loungers and even though we stayed in peak season (the hotel was full) the pool never felt very busy and there was none of the usual battle for sun loungers. We've travelled to many, many countries and even more hotels and this stay was our favourite by far.

- the pool area was exceptional, and very clean. - daytime activities were very good, including water yoga, darts, volleyball! - the food at poolside restaurant was very reasonably priced & tasted good - breakfast was above average I would say. Maybe some variety with pastries. Bacon & Sausages weren’t great, but you’d always struggle to get nice bacon abroad. - night-time buffet was very reasonably priced. The food was well worth the money. - staff were very attentive and friendly. From reception, to poolside to the cleaners. Special mention to Vana in the main restaurant, exceptional service. - whilst i did not do any excursions, there are plenty available, with pickup right outside reception - well stocked mini-market, albeit slightly overpriced, but expected. - for families, I would say a car would be needed, as you’re a nice bit away from supermarkets etc. - the room was decent, with a fridge too. - bus stop 2 minute walk away - the grounds are well maintained - cleaners were in every day, made beds, changed towels etc & even folded clothes one day!

Good points Location - About 15 minutes from Rhodes Old Town by taxi. Falaraki is only 5 mins away. Probably best to use the taxis, as opposed to the bus, about 12-15 euros per trip Staff - The staff throughout the hotel are very good. Mention for Nena on the front desk who was very helpful when we were booking trips/taxis etc Food - Decent food in the restaurant every night. Good range of drinks in the bar Facilities - We enjoyed the pool, but beware you'll need to reserve your sun bed early! Pool side bar and restaurant have a decent selection if you're staying on site. Next door - The Kreston Royal Hotel is adjacent to this property. We went there one night, the buffet was excellent, they also have different music performances every night. There is an a la carte restaurant on this site, we didn't use this but they will accept bookings (not on the same day). Local restaurants - We went to Caldera, which is about 10 mins walk downhill from the hotel. Really nice food, but the portions are large!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and want to express our gratitude to the entire hotel staff for their excellent work. The hotel exceeded all our expectations: excellent service, cozy and well-maintained grounds, and beautiful design. We especially want to highlight the work of the staff, who were always friendly and ready to help. The breakfast was very good, and the private pool added a special charm to our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised by the room upgrade, which made our stay even more comfortable. We recommend to visit Kallithea bay (near Restaurant The Roc). It is just 10 min walk from the hotel but it is one of the most beautiful in the island (believe us we took a boat and explored all the bays in Rhodes :-)) There is also free tennis court that we used every day. We are very happy with our choice and will definitely return here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

The room was clean and spacious with a nice, big balcony with seaview. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very big, with an outside pool area, a nice pool bar where all staff was very kind and helpful and a gym and a spa center which we didn't have enough time to try. There was a great variety of food and beverages in the breakfast buffet and everything was very fresh and delicious. It was a very comfortable short stay.
